Damien Smith is a degree qualified naval architect who has been in operation as Damien Smith Design Pty Ltd for over 10 years. He has a passionate interest in all aspects of naval architecture from the application of the latest technology through to the tradition and history of vessel design and construction. An accomplished award-winning engineer with a multiplicity of applicable expertise he has made his mark working with innovative and technically demanding smaller vessels.

Many of his new vessels now incorporate patented production systems, innovative efficient hull shapes and novel propulsion and engineering arrangements. In addition to new vessels Damien Smith Design has participated in a wide range of projects from cyclone moorings to complex vessel conversions.
